Many blogger were facing this problem form several months. They were not able to stop tracking their own page views on blogger. “Don’t Track Your Own page Views” features was working fine on sub-domain blogspot.com but bloggers who were using custom domain name on their blog were getting the error. They weren’t able to enable this option on their blog.
The issue were roll out on many forums, asking the solution for it. Some of the tech savvy provide the alternative solution also.
But blogger has officially fixed the error. Now blogger, even who are using custom domain name on their blogs can manage the tracking of the own page views. Simply follow the below steps.
So let’s start,
- Login to Blogger Dashboard> Stats> Overviewoption
- On the right of your screen you will find the “Manage the tracking of your own pageviews” option.
- On clicking that option, a new window will open. Check on the “Don’t track my views for this blog” option.
The above option may not work for custom domain name. Because when you Click “Manage the tracking of your own pageviews” option, it will show the error “This site can’t be reached“.
To make it work you simply need to remove “s” from “https” i.e equal to “http” and leave all as it is. Reload the browser. Now you are able to manage the tracking of your own page views on blogger blog.
